The enthusiasm spirit of South Sikkim through the platform KAPINZAL SOCIAL FOUNDATION as key problem shooter as facilitator for disadvantaged community basically together with overall social, cultural, economical, moral educational, sports, youth, women and child development also other efforts as a positive change agent by way of drawing faith on its steps of the general people belong to rural, semi urban and urban communities simultaneously and their participation all the way have been able proudly to stand on today’s fit.

                                                                                                                         

Mr. Surendra Koyu

President 

Mr. Koyu is a founder member of Kapinzal, he is a well known social worker of the society. By gaining great experience in social work he did lot in various development fields. He is also expert in implementation of different projects and programs through the NGOs in soft manner. Mr Koyu achieved District youth award from NYK, in the year 2004, Bhatat Jyoti Award from International Friendship Society, India in the year 2008 and Felicitation from Sangam Samaj NGO of South Sikkim in the year 2007. He attended various training at State, Regional as well as National level since he started work in the field of development.

Mr. Deepak Lamichaney
Vice-President

Mr. Lamichaney is a Master of Public Administration as academic with motto in life for social work. He gained invaluable experience on projects and programs implementation of NGOs. His participation in different training at State, Regional and National level in due course of his involvement with the Foundation brought an extra ordinary professional inputs in development field.

Mr. Arjun Rai
Secretary cum Executive Director

He is a double Master degree holder in Social Work and in Economics. Mr. Rai is a dedicated social activist in the state of Sikkim also one of the founder members of Kapinzal Social Foundation. He did a lot in various development fields and gained experience and built his confidence in this sector. He always taking lead to build the capacity of new and existing organizations bay way of develop their strategy, planning, designing projects and policies for sustainability. He has achieved a remarkable formal appreciation from different sources in personal as well as organizational level simultaneously. He participated  many training, workshops and conferences at District, State as well as National level.

Mr. Siri Kr. Rai
Joint Secretary

Mr. Rai is also a founder member of the Organization. He is an well known social worker of the society. His expertise always guide the Foundation for keeping its step in sustainable socioeconomic development sectors professional way. He did lot of social work basically in grass root level with whole-heart participatory approach with the community.

Ms. Beena Kri. Chettri

She is also a popular social worker in the state of development. Her wholehearted involvement helped pick - up her spirit in positive social change by way of her approach towards the village women health and empowering women all the way in Indian Culture.

Ms. Binita Sharma
Treasurer

Ms. Sharma is academically Master in Social Work. She has been able to spread out her development efforts in the state level at present. Her expertise concern to social work towards various developmental fields viz. basically in women and child rights and protection. She is well known enthusiastic women and child rights Activist in the State. She had fight with many cases for women justice at courts and achieved well success. Ms Sharma also gained a lot of experiences on various projects and programs formulation and implementation related to NGOs. Her extraordinary efforts in the field of development helped her make able to achieve lot of appreciation from different sources in the local, district and state level. She participated many training, workshops and seminars in District, State, Regional and National level as well.

Ms. Zumkit Lepcha
Executive Member

Ms. Lepcha is well known social worker through her wholehearted participatory development practice since last 6 years. She did tremendous task on socioeconomic development sector towards community mobilization, women and child health etc. and has been able to fit as development facilitator with the organization's platform.

Ms. Geeta Chettri
Executive Member

She is also an well known social worker of the society in District as well as State level. Her expertise belongs to social work in various fields with her specialty in development of women and child health. She built her capacity by experiencing various projects and programs formulation and implementation related to NGOs social development sectors. She also achieved a lot formal appreciations from various NGOs and GOs of Sikkim. Her ability to attend as Kapinzal representative in different training, workshops and conferences at District, State as well as at National level helping the foundation maintaining good liaison with various donor community/organization, departments etc. for their joint hand efforts in community as well as socioeconomic development field.

Ms. Bimala Rai
Executive Member

Ms. Rai started her career with social work through the foundation after completion of her graduation in arts. Her wholehearted long seven years of involvement in community development towards different community based livelihood programs of the organization made a tangible changes in the locality, by which she has gained repute and recommendation from the community on her ability as key facilitator  in social development sector.

Organogram

The Structure of the organization has been strategically designed by the Governing relating to its Finance, HR and operation policies. It had been guiding the organization properly and supporting to the team with loyalty for their professional inputs in development initiatives.

Legal Status

As basic legal entity Kapinzal Social Foundation has been able to achieve formal registration/affiliation/certification under different Legal sources at present, which have accordingly been mentioned here under:-  

1. Societies Registration Act, 1860 in the year 2000
2. Nehru Yuva Kendra under Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India in the year 2000
3. N P System under Ministry of Planning Commission, Govt. of India in the year 2010

The foundation is also exempted income tax through:-
1. Permanent Account Number (PAN) under Income Tax Department, Govt of India
2. Tax Deduction Account Number (TAN) under Income Tax Department, Govt. of India 
3. Section 12 AA under Income Tax Act, Govt. of India
